License Renewal Cycle: Every 2 years

Special Note: APRNs in the state of Utah are also required to maintain their RN licensure.

At this time, there are no general CE requirements, but there may be topical or speciality requirements.

Specialty Requirements

  • Controlled Substance Prescribing

    • Total Credits: 4

    • Frequency: Every 2 renewal cycles

    • Conditions:

      • Required of APRNs with prescriptive authority.

    Complete your required 3.5 hours of training on Controlled Substance Prescribing here. The remaining 0.5 hours must be completed through the state-required training here.
